The City of Cedar Rapids is holding its final Open House on River Corridor Redevelopment Plan today to collect feedback from the public on a recommended flood management strategy and other features.
On the flip side, ReDefine Cedar Rapids has online petition on Flood Mitigation process that the City of Cedar Rapids and is concerned about the City's recommendations that "will cost an estimated $1 billion dollars, and affects 500 homes and businesses; additionally the plan does not protect a long list of historical buildings/landmarks and one entire neighborhood."
